What IS CTA? 
Career and Trades Academy is bringing career and industry-aligned courses to students grades 7-12 on a virtual platform.

Who is it for?
CTA is for students grades 7-12 who want to explore careers, take their education opportunities seriously, and want to learn about Vet Science, Cosmetology, Hydroponics, Zoology, and more!

What will students earn? 
With certified educators leading the courses, your student/child will gain extensive knowledge in the course topic, the ability to do projects and interactive learning, and a certificate of completion. 

Depending on school parameters, a certificate could count as an artifact toward graduation. And since the educators are certified, the course may also count as an elective. 


*student must pass course(s) with minimum required grade and participation in course.

Each of our Educators are fully certified in their subject matter after years in industry. 

Artifacts and Certificates

Each course and program helps align students to ACT158 and career pathways toward graduation and beyond.

Potential Graduation Artifacts & Career Pathway Alignment
Courses and programs are designed to support career exploration and may provide artifacts that students can submit to their home school for consideration toward graduation requirements. Final approval, credit, and placement decisions are made by the student's home/sending school.

Elective Credits and Autonomy

Each program you commit to may earn you elective credits toward graduation. And since our Educators are certified through the Department of Education, you can potentially complete these programs in school or at home (per school's permissions).
