FAQs About CTA

How do I choose the right course to start with?

Start with the course that matches your goal and current level. If you are new to the topic, pick an intro or fundamentals course. If you already have experience, choose the next skill you need for your role or program.

Can I take courses in any order?

Yes. You can follow the recommended order shown in the flow, or choose the course that fits your needs now. If a course has prerequisites, we will note them on the course page. Any courses that have a pre-requisite are marked accordingly.
Programs may require that courses are done sequentially.

How do I enroll in a course?

Open the course(s)/program(s) page, select your course(s)/program(s), and complete checkout with payment. Once enrolled, the course appears in your dashboard so you can start right away.

Can I switch courses after I enroll?

You can enroll in additional courses at any time. If you need to change what you purchased, contact us for help with your specific situation.

How do the courses/programs become artifacts?

In Pennsylvania, an artifact—also called a “piece of evidence”—is documentation of your work that demonstrates that you applied one or more Career Education and Work (CEW) Standards.
Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) says that artifacts can be written or electronic.Think of an artifact as proof of what you learned and how you applied it.
But check with your "regular/sending" school to see if they will issue an artifact upon completion of these courses/programs.
