Ms. Aislinn Kelly is an experienced science educator and STEM professional with a passion for helping students understand the connections between science, the environment, and the world around them. She holds Pennsylvania Level II certifications in Biology, General Science, and Chemistry for grades 7–12 and has experience teaching science in both traditional brick-and-mortar schools and online learning environments.
Ms. Kelly brings a unique combination of classroom teaching, environmental education, STEM programming, and conservation experience to her work with students. During her career, she has taught in both urban and rural school districts and has developed innovative opportunities that allow students to engage in meaningful scientific inquiry beyond the traditional classroom.
Her work with Environmental STEM programming and online student activities reflects her belief that students can participate in authentic, collaborative science experiences regardless of where they live or how they access their education. She has mentored students through environmental STEM initiatives and supported opportunities such as Envirothon, helping students apply classroom science to real-world environmental challenges.
Ms. Kelly earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in Biological Sciences through Miami University's Project Dragonfly Global Field Program and has pursued additional graduate-level study in biology and STEM education. She is also part of the Project Dragonfly instructional community, serving as an instructor and contributing to experiential environmental education.
Her approach to teaching emphasizes curiosity, inquiry, hands-on learning, environmental stewardship, and real-world application. Rather than simply memorizing scientific concepts, students are encouraged to ask questions, investigate problems, collaborate, and develop an understanding of how science connects to their communities and the natural world.
In her free time, Ms. Kelly loves to travel, investigate the world around her, stay involved in cat rescue, and truly connect with nature.
Explore. Investigate. Connect. Make a Difference.
Ms. Kelly's courses are designed for students who want to understand not only what science is, but why it matters. Through environmental investigations, STEM challenges, scientific inquiry, and real-world connections, students are encouraged to become active participants in their own learning.
